What's wrong with that one?*

This is one of the photos I took of London Eye while waiting for the New Year's fireworks to begin. One out of many - you can take a lot of pictures during a 9-hour-wait.
The effect results from slowly zooming in, from 18 to 55mm.

*And no, there is nothing wrong with it as R. assumed, it is supposed to be like that ;-)

  2. hmm i am confused. Is this from the other side of the river? But the angle looks all wrong unless you had access to the upper reaches of Westminster! But then I think i can also see the houses of parliament on the other side of the river. And that makes the angle even more unlikely! :)

  3. I was indeed on the other side of the river, directly across the eye. Do you know that golden eagle (?) statue? Right beside it. The platform, if you can call it that, with the TV cameras was about three metres to my left. But honestly, how can you recognise any buildings at all in this shot?
