Hands VII...

... and the end of the cycle. Next time I start something like that, I'll make sure to collect enough material beforehand.

This last photo does not actually concentrate on the hands but on the piece of plane bark they are holding. I converted the picture to b/w so that the colours (which weren't that spectacular anyway) wouldn't distract from the texture.

Colour the revolution*

Here is another one for the texture fan(s) (you know who you are) and for those like me who have a thing for colour. It is on the wall of an old house in the Hessenpark and I liked this detail.

*And in case this post's title vaguely reminds you of a Hindi movie - that's intentional.

Texture Study

Two textures in one picture, I hope you like them. I know I do. So the evening spent trying to buy shoes wasn't totally wasted as I bought these, loved the colour (matches my saree.. yes, I have a saree) and they were so cheap that it doesn't matter if they fall apart after being worn for just one day. Oh yes, and the small picture shows the totally insensible, unreasonable and probably uncomfortable shoes ;-)
