The Kite Runner

Flying kites in autumn has a tradition here as much as anywhere. I personally never did it as a child.. once later at a friend's birthday party in May. Probably the date jinxed it - we lost the kite.

    I flew kites as a kid. I always had to go with my brother and of course his was always higher than mine. Grrr! I also read the "The Kite Runner". Beautiful book that I lent to somebody and never got it back. So many times that has happened to me and yet I'm always lending my favorite books. I guess a fool never learns....

    Probably they immediately made it their favourite, too ;-) So to be on the safe side, don't lend your favourite books to anybody but buy another copy and give it to them :D
